Loud stock intel fan.

I just finished putting a desktop together and I've found that the stock intel fan is very audible. With my g4560 idling at around 25 degrees, the fan is at 1200rpm. Am I doing something wrong or is the stock fan just loud? It's been years since I've worked with stock intel fans, but I still can't remember it being this loud at idle.

Stock fans are loud. I haven't used one in nearly ever, but I know most people will get an aftermarket cooler if nothing else for the better fan. I heard the newest AMD cooler is good, and Intel HSFs have gotten better recently. But I haven't used one in forever.

You could adjust your fan speed profile and bring the noise down, that's what I did. I let me CPU idle at 35-45c with the fan barely spinning.
