[SOLVED] Low download speed

Hi, i have arounds 50 mbps download speed when i run a speed test but when i am dowloading things on steam it is around 6-8 mbps. if anyone knows how to fix this i would appreciate it. Thanks

Umm maybe change your download server location to one nearest you? also clear the download cache.
both can be done from Settings>Downloads

Your ISP and speedtest.net reports in megabits/sec.
Steam reports in megaBytes/sec.
8:1 ratio

6* 8 = 48 == close enough to 50.
Nothing is wrong, nothing needs to be fixed.
Just different reporting units.
