[SOLVED] Low FPS after laptop is briefly unplugged from mains socket then plugged back in ?

Hi
I have an MSI GE62 6QF Apache Pro laptop
GTX970M
Intel i7-6700HQ 2.60
16GB RAM
Windows 10

laptop performs well.
however If it gets unplugged then replugged mid game it get really slow From 60-62 fps to 11-20 fps and It will stay slow and laggy until I restart the laptop and It goes back to normal performance.

(most of the time it will be unplugged only for 5 seconds, so the battery is still full)

Is there anyway to fix it?

Edit: when it slows down my CPU clocks down to 0.78Ghz but i couldn't find why it does that. I've checked my power plans and It was not the reason. any other options?

Just in case anyone facing the same issue, updating the EC firmware solved the issue.
