I have Low Fps in CS:Go
my specs are

cpu:Intel Core2Quad q6600
gpu: amd radeon sapphire 6670
ram: 5gb ddr2
resolution: 1024x768 stretched
and everything else on low and i ONLY GET 70 FPS ON THAT RESOLUTION
please help me

Solution
Install MSI afterburner and set up on screen display of the CPU and GPU usage. This will allow you to see how much of your CPU and GPU is being used while in-game.

If either your CPU or GPU is being used to 100 percent then there is nothing much you can do about it as that component is a bottleneck and is already being used to it's maximum.

But if your GPU or CPU both are under like 70 percent usage, then your game might not be using hardware to it's maximum potential.

While you are at it, you can also check the temperature of your GPU using MSI afterburner when in game to check if high temperature is the issue. When the CPU/GPU hits the temperature cap, then it scales back down which degrades performance completely.

Here are guides on how to use on screen display features of MSI afterburner :

Set it up, check your CPU usage, GPU usage, and temperatures on the same and report back the results you are getting. Your PC is most likely GPU bottlenecked, for which sadly not much can be done.

Solution

There is a little more potential there for CPU and GPU, but nothing that would make you get more FPS magically. I guess around 720p low @ 60FPS is the best you can manage with your hardware for CS GO. Not bad if you ask me.

Also, if you are playing multiplayer, then FPS is also affected a lot by the ping. The benchmark should hence always be done on a local game with bots.

You're getting the performance you deserve buddy, don't worry.
Your gpu you have is low end and old too, the 70fps you're hitting is golden for your specs.

If you have any other questions please let me know, i would be more than happy to help you :)
