You should look into a higher resolution panel...1080p for the processor and GPU alone is pointless.

would this fix the frames per second? Also I play competitive games as well, In CS2 I get around 200 fps where as in the benchmark videos ive seen surpass over 600 on 1920x1080

Your cpu has integrated graphics on it meaning the cpu itself has a gpu built into it. Your system could be partially or fully relying on it hence the performance drop. Make sure your system uses your gpu from nvidia control panel settings etc.

If the above isn't the case then maybe try downgrading your gpu driver to 1-2 versions below of the current latest one, additionally you should at the very least be pulling 400-600 fps in cs2 on 1080p depending on settings as I get around that with my 4070ti.

I will play around with the driver versions to see which one is best. How can I fully disable the integrated graphics for CPU? Also I attached a picture of my afterburner, would you happen to recommend the best settings for my build?

I just figured out how to disable it. Now is this recommended? also what can you recommend for me to tweak for my system?

and I dont know if you saw the picture of in game but I was only pulling 100fps, is this normal on this game for a 4090?

What I had to do with newest build is that I had to go into System -> Display -> Graphics and manually force windows 11 to use the dedicated gpu. I don't personally overclock the 40 series cards so I can't tell you the best settings for those. All I did with my 4070 Ti is that I setup a silent fan curve as the cooling on the card is quite good. However you just have to keep an eye on your gpu temps during highloads and then adjust the fan curve from there.

I did that for my CS2 and other games as well and I still struggle with pulling some fps :(

CPU cooler?
Have you checked your CPU temperatures?
Have you checked your system memory speeds? Quite common for it to default to the slowest possible speed unless you change it.
What is your memory configuration? Single channel, dual channel, DDR4, DDR5?

Recommended settings for an RTX4090, leave it alone. At competitive settings I would expect very minimal GPU usage. Overclocking it won't do anything. You can increase the power limit to max if you want to, that might get you a little extra boost clocks, but only when the card is taxed.

FPS is all about the CPU. How many frames the game engine can ask of the GPU.

I have DDR5 Ram with XMP Enabled. CPU temps are always good, and no I have not checked my system memory speeds. What application can I download for that? I will post results in this thread, im new to all of this stuff but maybe you can indiciate where something is wrong. I Have an AIO cooler for my CPU

Generally bios but the quickest way to check them without the ability to change the memory speeds is to open up task manager -> performance -> memory and it should show you the speed at the bottom right side. However if they aren't what they are supposed to be then look up a specific guide for your motherboard and how to change them, usually though they should be okay with xmp etc enabled.

GPU looks good, 16x at 4.0. Occasionally see people halving it with the shared M.2 slot for PCIe 5.0 drives.

Now it is a little odd for it to be running full speed on the desktop, did you have something running while you were checking?

CPU appears alright. We want to look at the memory tab though for the RAM details.

4x32 is correct for DDR5 dual channel operation. (The reason dual channel isn't as important, is because each stick is basically dual channel already) Most game engines are expecting dual channel operation, and nothing more.
so what do you think is causing there performance issues?

That just leaves how the system was built. Is this a fresh build and install of Windows? Or was it a transplant. Oh also, is that Windows 10 or 11? 11 is recommended for CPUs with e-cores.

Doublecheck any running programs or software while gaming for high CPU usage. Particularly RGB related software, a lot of it is very buggy.

It could also be your game running on the e-cores inappropriately. Of note there is a -Threads command you can add to your CS2 launch to help with that. You would want to try Threads -17 if the internet is to be believed.
