Low FPS On Steam Games

Hello everybody and merry Christmas!

I ordered a Computer from CyberPowerPC, I got it on Christmas day and I went to play some steam games on it and they are really laggy, On Skyrim I can't get over 30 frames and on Black Ops 3 I can't even get over 10 frames on ALL LOW SETTINGS!

Specs: Evga GTX 970
I7-4790 @3.60GHz
8GB Of DDR3 RAM
Corsair H105 Liquid Cooler

I'm Really confused cause I just wanted to have a fun Christmas with my friends gaming.

Is the monitor plugged into the video card or motherboard? Sounds like you are trying to run off the igpu rather than the 970.

Yes, I installed my Mobo Driver but when I install my GPU driver and check it in GeForce Experience Nothing shows up, Do you have any ideas?

Second poster probably hit the nail. You might be running off the onboard gfx card. Disable that in BIOS.
