Hi guys!
So my problem is that when I encounter large and detailed environments in games, my fps drops drastically! This is extremely annoying as I have a fair system which easily should be able to run these games smooth. The games I'm talking about is for example Hitman absolution, Borderlands 2, Crysis etc. My drivers are up to date, I have flashed my BIOS several times, have done several clean installs, checked for viruses and literally everything I could possibly think of, but no improvements... Please help me find the problem which has been bothering me for so long! My specs are:
ASUS HD 7850 Direct CU2 GPU
AMD FX-8320 3,5 (OC to 4GHz) GHz 8- CPU
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 MOBO
2x4gb 4gb 1333 corsair RAM
1tb seagate HDD

Thanks for reply!
I'm playing at my native resolution which is 1920x1200, and I'm running a X64 bit version of windows 8.

It does rise a bit, but when there's a lot of detail/large areas, my fps stays the same. It lays somewhere between 40 and 50 fps on medium graphics settings. It almost seems like there's a huge bottleneck in my rig, but all my components should be working smooth together, after all they all lies in the same performance class...

I was never talking about crysis 3, no if I could get 40-50 fps on crysis 3 medium, I would be thrilled. It's Crysis 1 i'm talking about, and I should easily be able to run that game maxed out... also, my GPU has 2gb of video memory, not 1gig as shown in the benchmark you posted...
