[SOLVED] Low frequency ram with ryzen.

I'm planning to buy ryzen 5 1600 or second or third generation ryzen. So my question is - that's an issue when ryzen series released for the first time: if you use with low frequency ram (like mine, 2400mhz) cpu can not unleash its true power. It still an issue?

Definitely an issue for 1st and 2nd gen Ryzen, but not as much of an issue with 3rd gen. Still, try to get somewhat higher frequency ram.

Is 3000mhz enough?

3000mhz is fine. 3000mhz was generally concidered the minimum for 1st and 2nd generation ryzen.

2400mhz does indeed slow performance significantly, but does work.
