Hey,
Bought this memory:
G.SKILL Sniper Low Voltage Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231461
Installed on my motherboard: M4A79XTD Evo
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131402
I have a Phenom II 955 BE
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103808
It is not running stable, restarts fairly soon after boot up. I had read a few stories of people using low voltage memory on this board and it working, so I had expected no hiccups. It does not appear to be detecting the 1.25v requirement. I am running the current version of my BIOS and can find no way to manually adjust the voltage below 1.5v. This seems to be a built in limit.
Is there something I need to do to unlock my voltage adjustment?
Thanks!
