I recently got the Samsung s90c TV, since it has not 3.5 jack and my Edifier R1600T speakers don't have optical I connected both of them with a dac that has a built in volume control since Samsung in their infinite window doesn't allow volume control over optical. However the problem is that with volume on both the speakers and the dac max the sound is still nowhere near loud enough.
Switching back to TV speakers and increasing volume doesn't change the volume of the optical.
Is there a DAC with an amp or a reasonably cheap amp that can be connected between the TV and dac to increase the volume ?
