I have a motherboard that I picked up fairly cheap. Its nothing special but I want to make a build out of it and make a little money off it. Otherwise its just going to sit here. Plus I'm new to this and my first build was a lot of fun!

So the mother board is AM1M-S2H. It has a FS1B socket. The best CPU i found for it was an AMD Athlon 5150. Its an 1.6ghz apu with 4 cores. I was thinking that paired with a decent cpu. I have an extra Gtx 750 that I would like to put in it, accompanied with 8 gigs of ram to hold it up it, the rig should hold it's own with games like Titan Fall and Bf3 or Bf4 with moderate High settings.

Just like to get some feed back. I know its not going to be a beast of a rig, but allow itself to play some games for someone who wants it for that and easier programs. Obviously not aimed at people over clocking machines, and trying to get best frame rates or massive video editing. Thanks for the time reading and answering my inquiry. Have a great day guys!

To assist in the spec look ups i'll provide links to save you time.

The AM1 platform is not really gamer friendly. I understand your thinking, you can pick this stuff up cheap whack it together and try and turn a profit but I doubt very much you will be successful. The margins in this game are very small and you are essentially asking the question can I pull the wool over someone's eyes with cheap equipment labelled as a gaming machine. Possibly you can try it and it will likely be fun if you haven't built many systems before but it will not perform well in triple A titles. It will be energy efficient and will play indie games and low end stuff but it will really struggle with something like Titan Fall. There are many reasons why, single memory channel just for a start.

If you really want to put a machine together for fun and try and get your money back or make a small margin your best bet is second hand parts off ebay and build an AMD FX system or even an FM2 Athlon.

Unfortunately, the fact that it's used/older lowers the price by quite a bit. "Custom built" really doesn't hold much value for most people other than the one who built it. Poprin's pretty well nailed it. Many times (especially companies) don't even try to sell machines that old, they just give them away or toss them out. I've gotten tons of outdated machines like that for free (and ended up getting rid of a lot because it just wasn't useful anymore). The nature of the tech game.
