Hi!

If a vampire at 1 blood, is equipping with Soul Gem of Etrius, and
plays any modifier that costs a blood + daring the dawn at inferior,
does the gem trigger?

If the action succeeds (that is: if it isn't blocked or otherwise
prematurely ended), then he'll become the bearer of the Gem before
he burns from the DtD damage, yes.
