Question M.2 & Asus rog strix z790 gaming -f

Hi,

Before I add another Gen 4 m.2 on my ASUS ROG Strix z790 gaming -f.

Today I have a Samsung 980 Pro in the lower slot and planning on adding a m.2 Gen 4 WD BLACK.
Is it OK to mix brands and does it matter where I place it?
The m.2 fits in all of the free slots and they all support Gen4 x4 speed.

Not planning on adding a 2,5 SATA SSD.

Should be OK to add it in any slot, right?

Brand does not matter for compatibility.
In my system right now, I have 4 different brands, of different types. Samsung, Intel, Crucial, SanDisk.

In your board, the port does not matter either.
