Question m.2 disk non uefi compatible

If disk is partitioned in MBR partition scheme, then it is not UEFI compatible.
You have to partition it in GPT partition scheme.

Ok cool but one of my friend is drive was not uefi compatible i was septic never seen that before
he said it's because the m.2 is the first generation

he said to me it's a m.2 950 pro from samsung and it was not compatible uefi and not recognize in bios very strange never seen this before

is the file format/os that not compatible with uefi.
do a fresh os install.

The 950 pro was special. It was designed to be able to boot from non-uefi boards.
