any ideas on what i can do to set up my crucial p3 m.2 nvme drive it doesnt show in the bios nor the disk partitions

motherboard asrock b450 steel legend bios version 4.60 ryzen 7 2700x pinnacle ridge supports m.2 nvme and m.2 sata 6g.

pcie nvme is enabled and sata lanes 3__3 and 3_4 have nothing connected. Manual tells me to go to pcie nvme configuration but that doesnt seem to exist within the bios.

by chance a faulty nvme drive. or am i missing something that someone could help with.

Make sure you connected it correctly to the MoBo.

Also check that on the bios, you ahve the ACHI mode instead of SATA mode on. The setting is called something like PCH storage config i think
