my question is simple...and im kind of lost about M.2... i just want to know if this M.2 SSD is ok to install in my laptop.

SSD - 1x M.2 SSD Combo (NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 / SATA )

But that is rather expensive for a small 120GB drive.
What is in the laptop now?

there is a 1 HDD 5400rpm 1TB..and one stick RAM 8GB DDR4...my GF laptop BTW..going to expand RAM to 16GB DDR4 2400...and switch Windows to the M.2 and keep HDD for Data.
