Hello,

I had an ssd on a pci adapter as my first and only boot drive. I got a strange error while running Windows 10 and then it eventually was not accessible trying to do a fresh Windows10 install from a usb stick. And I reinstalled to the HDD that originally came with the computer. So now I am wondering," can I use the SSD as an internal storage drive that doesn't boot?(once i get the SSD working)"

Thanks for reading and possibly responding.

Solution
No.
What is in the BIOS boot order determines what you boot from.

What motherboard is this?
What are ALL the storage devices involved here?
