Question M.2 SSD Unallocated Itself

Hi, I was away from my computer for about 6 months and after setting up my computer again, I noticed that one of my two SSDs shows as unallocated. I use this M.2 drive as my secondary drive, with the other SSD being my boot drive.

I tried going through a couple of forums of people with similar issues, but am haphazard to follow some instructions as my case is not exactly the same. I'm also worried that because of the time in between my last use of the PC, the data may be unrecoverable. I tried running testdisk and it says the structure was Ok, but I ran into errors when initially analyzing the partition.

Given that my BIOS mode is UEFI and my other drive was GPT, I figured that my second drive would also be GPT. (Note that testdisk is not able to accurately guess the partition type).

I also tried looking at the partition in DMDE, but I'm not seeing much data there... Hoping this doesn't imply all my data is lost, and that I am just doing something wrong lol. Currently running a full volume scan with test disk to see if it just isn't showing the data on the quick search.

If possible, I would really like to recover the data and not format / initialize it with new data. The information on the drive isn't important enough for me to consult and pay for a drive recovery service, but enough for me to want to fix this without losing the data.

Normally you would try reinserting the partition, but you say that DMDE didn't produce much data. Therefore, I'm wondering whether the NTFS volume has been reformatted, in which case TRIM would have been invoked. When you d-click the 1TB NTFS volume in DMDE, what are the date/time stamps on the NTFS metafiles?

Seems like everything has time stamps on 2021-05-06?

If, after d-clicking the partition, you don't see your files and folders, then a simple partition "reinsertion" won't help. You will need to perform a full scan, but it would be best to clone the drive beforehand.
Did a full scan, not really seeing much. Am I SOL?

Not sure if this piece of information is important, but I may have copied the information from an old 2tb hdd (not filled past 1tb) onto this 1tb m.2 drive when I originally set up this PC. I am wondering if this may be related to the problems here or a cause of this? Figured I would mention it b/c I saw some weird results when running testdisk, which can be seen in the earlier image when it says the drive is too small.

Launch DMDE.

Select your physical device and then OK.

Check the Advanced box. You will see your hexadecimal/text sector data on the right.

Drag the vertical scrollbar from LBA 0 all the way down to the end of the drive. If you see mostly zeros, then your data are gone.
