Hello everyone. I recently put together a build and plan to purchase it on amazon sometime very soon. I am having issues figuring out which would be the very best WiFi/Bluetooth M.2 card for my build. I am going to be putting in an M.2 Samsung EVO SSD already (THIS ONE) and want to make sure the WiFi/Bluetooth card will still fit while this SSD is in it. I want to make sure that I am going to have room for the WiFi/Bluetooth card as well and make sure the key type will work with my Z170 motherboard. Also, I am confused about whether or not I need an antenna. Can someone please suggest an exact WiFi/Bluetooth M.2 card w/ or without an antenna that will work well with this build. Thanks so much in advance.

Here is my Build, link goes to my Amazon wish list: http://a.co/1zN5D1P

For what it is worth I would just get a PCI-E wifi card then.

M2 options are limited for wifi cards and you will need to get your own uhl to RP-SMA cables, and connect it to a PCI slot with RP-SMA connectors; vs a PCI-E card with all of that built in.

If you are engineer then you likley akreadt know that for best performance you will want to extend the antennas above the top of your desktop with low-loss RP-SMA cables.
Ugh, putting wifi on a high end gaming desktop is like putting small <100mph rated tires on a high horsepower drag car.

If you can not run an ethernet cable to your desktop then use powerline ethernet adapters.
You will have more reliable speed and more important for gaming you will have much better ping/latency.

I am aware that it is less reliable. I will be plugging my NIC in directly to the network via CAT6, however I want WiFi/Bluetooth capabilities as well just in case. I am an engineer and sometimes I use use the WiFi connection as a secondary connection when configuring servers and other hosts. With that being said, does anyone have a suggestion of exact parts that will work they can send me a link to? Do I need antenna etc? Thanks.

Alright. I will check it out. I am going to go ahead and order everything else for now and then scope it all out during the build. Can you make any other suggestions in regards to my above build, or do you see anything that is not good or does not work well together?

Build looks pretty good, only 2 thigs:

Windows 10 allows you to transfer license if you have a linked microsoft account thus no need to get full version over retail, so you can save $40-50 there.
750w is overkill for a single 1070. 550w would give you plenty of wiggle room for drives and addon cards.

I came across this post pretty late, and am guessing you bought the high speed ram for future proofing?
According to intel specs here (https://ark.intel.com/products/88195/Intel-Core-i7-6700K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_20-GHz), the iCore processor supports only up to 1600MHz DDR4, but you bought 3200MHz CL16 Corsair. Why not spend the money on the extra unused speed in getting a 1600MHz DDR4 with lower latency like CL14/15?
