Question M15X dgpu problem installing

Hi, I recently got a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860m mxm video card for my alienware m15x. I installed it properly but i am having a problem where if I try to reload windows 10 via USB, it gives me a white screen and nothing else. Also when I went into the windows to Install the graphics driver it just says Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and I tried updating it and it says it's the latest driver. Any info on how to fix would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
