Hello, i bought UGREEN Adapter PCIe 4.0 x16 do M.2 M-Key NVMe and Lexar 2TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe NM790, inserted this in one of slot in Dell T5810, updated BIOS to A33, and I tried most of the solutions from the internet and still the drive does not show up in “my computer". In the device manager the disk is visible, but after entering the options and pressing populate there is an error “volume information for this disk cannot be found”.

Most of information provided by me is in this thread:

Please show screenshot from Disk Management.
And also screenshot from Device Manager - disk drives and storage controllers sections expanded.
And also screenshot from Windows Storage Spaces (Control Panel\Storage Spaces).

Probably just need to create/format partition and assign drive letter.

BTW - heatsink seems to be attached to the wrong side of PCIE M.2 adapter.
Improperly installed heatsink may potentially cause short.

Check the applicable documentation for PCIe/NVMe conflicts.

Are you familar with "diskpart"?

Reference:

(You can easily find other similar links.)

Immediate objective is only to learn more about what the system is "seeing". Not to configure or change.
I'll check that, thanks!
