Question MacOS Chrome loading at start up

I purchased an iMac in June, just upgraded to macOS Ventura. For some reason, whenever the computer starts, Chrome starts automatically. Can I stop this?
Chrome is not the default browser
I've tried removing chrome from Login Items in system settings.

Try looking in the Chrome Prefs for an entry for "Open at Startup" with a check box in front of it. If the entry is there and the box is checked, unchecking should fix it. If either box is not checked or there is no option, "Google is our Friend".
