Question Macrium Reflect Keeps Loading at Start Up

I've been working to reduce my list of start up apps when Windows first boots up, and I've had of success using a combination of Revo Uninstaller's Autorun Manager with Windows settings (turning things off in start up, msconfig, setting apps to "Never run in background", etc).

But one tricky one is Marcum Reflect. I find that I can turn off all these settings, and it won't load at start up...until I run the program again. Then it reinvokes these start up settings. I don't think I'm missing anything in the app settings itself, so not sure how to stop that. Also would be helpful to know how to deal with stubborn apps that won't cooperate for the future.

How can I deal with this pesky quirk? I really only use it a few times a year (and don't need it loaded every single day).

Thanks all. These were some of the first things I checked. So nothing in Task Manager, and everything turned off in msconfig, Start Up apps or Task Manager. It will stay off...until I load the program. Then it starts loading again.

Is there a way to indefinity the service it's loading and try to target it not to do that? Something about the app itself keeps invoking it.

Yes, to all the above. I have checked everywhere I know that Marcum would hide an auto run.

And the thing is...I can get this to NOT auto run at startup. The problem is, when I load the program, it reinvokes the start up process every time. Not sure what about the program internally is doing that. Anyone know?

What specific subset of Macrium Reflect is shown in your 'Startup'?

This is the list. I can go days/weeks without these loading at start up, but when I load the program, they're back loading at start up. So it's definitely something Marcum is doing at when I use it. There are some options in the program that may/may not have anything to do with these (not sure). Like using Marcum Scheduler vs the Windows Task Scheduler, but don't wanna willy nilly tweak things without guidance.
  • Marcum Reflect Monitor
  • Marcum Reflect UI Watcher
  • Marcum Reflect Utility Service

I have those same.

Since my Macrium runs every day, I leave them alone.

In the context of overall system use, those have a very very small impact on system resources.
