Macro Mechanical keyboard that doesnt require software install?

I'm looking for a macro mechanical keyboard that doesn't require installing software to make the macro keys work. I purchased the G710+ but it requires install of software. I'm trying to use it for work for productivity reasons, but my work computer is super secure and locked down and wont allow me to install or change any settings.

Before I bought the logitech i got this guy:

which acutally does have the on keyboard recording capability without software needed, but the keyboard is not truely mechancal which is an absolute requirement, because the keyboard will have to be modified so that i can solder wires to specific keys and control them remotely.

back to the G710+, i really love this keyboard(brown version), the feel is great. Would it be possible to install the software on another PC and program the keyboard and then move it to the new computer and it retain its macros programming or does it embed it into the software?

i figure this would be the best place to ask a really specific keyboard question like this.

My initial "guess" is that it probably uses Windows Registry to retain those settings. I would be surprised if the keyboard had it's own EEPROM.

yes skit you are correct. I called logitic and they verified that the software must be installed on the machine it is plugged into.
