Magnet on PSU

Is it safe to mount a magnetic fan controller to the side of your PSU? Or will it damage it?

It really shouldnt cause any issues, but just to lean on the safe side somewhere in the case would be better.

The PSU's metal/steel case is designed to protect it from such interferences to some extent, but if it went through, it technically could to some extent affect the flow of electrons, amongst other things inside of the PSU. The risk of damage happening with a weak magnet isn't large, but better safe than sorry. Don't put the magnet anywhere near the HDD too ;-)
