Why don't you just wait the 3 weeks then get the system? Save money on the RAM and on the PSU instead of buying 2 tpyes of the same thing. that way you'll have moeny for better stuff. Duh :roll:

This is funny Bro, but I see the problem.

The folks who are telling you AMD is better than Intel are correct.....64 X2 is better than Pentium4. Sadly, those people have not moved into the present, where Intels C2D is better than X2.

Other than that, everyone else covered it.

This kind of question, predicated on "dis-information", is precisely why I cant stand the likes of Sharikou, 9inch MMM/MrsD/MrsBytch and BaronMatrix

600 watts is enough, just make sure it suppots the vid card and mobo in terms of connectors

There wasn't a problem when we did it on my friends. Problems when installing Windows usually are linked with bad communication with the HD or a general problem with the HD.
If you maek sure that you connections are good and everything is up to snuff there shouldn't be a problem with it.

Get two sticks of 512MB or two sticks of 1GB. Make sure it is PC5300 or higher as well.

Corsair, G.Skill and OCZ are your best bet. You can go cheaper but make sure you're buying memory in pairs, not a single stick. Because Core 2 Duo processors are fed by a Dual Channel interface. You'd be severly handicapping your processor by getting a single stick.

I've bolded parts you should change.

Memory is the first thing as I noted above. I would get this RAM CLICK ME!!!

The motherboard is VERY highend and useless considering you're getting an nVIDIA graphics card. I would suggest an Asus P5B or Gigabyte DS3 motherboard instead.

As for the harddrive get the 7200.10 instead of the 7200.9. It's a faster drive using perpendicular technology.
