[SOLVED] Makeshift Case Pannel

I have nzxt h200i which i accidentally broke the glass panel too. I have ordered a replacement, but in the meantime is there any recommendation what i could use as a makeshift panel? I was thinking of cutting a panel out of cardboard and using that but it seems a bit of a fire-risk

Is the "meantime" all that long until you get the replacement?
It won't hurt anything to run without it.....as long as you're careful not to get anything in there.

Ah.....well....cardboard would work....but I wouldn't trust it due to the fire hazard.....even though I think this hazard is very small.....but it's fire we're talking about here.

You could use a thin piece of plywood (it's not like plywood is going to burst into flames like cardboard)....or if you have a plastic panel laying around....or plastic mesh.

Basically you want something non conductive (in case it slips or it touches something).....and also you don't want it to be readily flammable.

Before tempered glass was all the rage, case windows were made of acrylic (better known a plexi glass). That's pretty readily available at brick&mortar stores.
The downside of plexi is that it's prone to scratches and can be statically charged.

Cardboard is perfectly fine. Nothing inside your case is getting to the combustion point of cardboard (250C).
