Anyone know if there's a way I can get more than 2 CD-ROM Drives hooked up if I have only 1 IDE free (without getting a card)?

There is no way. 2 devices per IDE channel.

He could try to HOT-swap the IDE cable! :)

It's tricky to use words like <b><font color=green>AMD</font color=green></b> or <b><font color=blue>Intel</font color=blue></b> in a signature some users could think your are biased.

If you want, you can get a SCSI card and hard drives, and free up the second IDE channel. A couple nice 10K RPM SCSI drives would liekly speed things up as well.

Spec:
Intel P4 2.4B
MSI 645E Max-U Mobo
1GB DDR333
R9600XT 128MB
SB Live 5.1
WD 60GB
Maxtor 120GB
LG DVD+-R/RW
WIN2K PRO SP4

OH! d00d, I have a 3 channel SCSI RAID controller that can controll up to 45 devices (15 per channel), while using only 1 IRQ. That's 1337!

LOL! How many CDROM drives do you need? and why?

How about using your CDROMs in external USB enclosures? USB 2.0 would be best.
