[SOLVED] Material around cables for protection?

Hello everyone,

been looking around to find this material you put around the ends of the cables and you put a lighter on so it shrinks into shape but no luck on finding it. any idea of its name?

It's called heatshrink. Are you looking towards sleeving your own cables...? Heatsrink come in two variant's one that has glue in it's inner (wall)lining and the other that does not have glue in it's inner lining.

For sleeving, get the ones with no glue in them. You also should avoid a lighter, use a heatgun to shrink heatshrink.
