[SOLVED] Max resolution on GeForce mx150 in Lenovo Ideapad 520

Hi,

I want to buy ultra wide monitor (IIYAMA ProLite XUB34) to use with my laptop Lenovo IdeaPad 520 (GeForce MX150). Just wondering, will I be able to use max resoultion on this monitor - what is 3440 x 1440?

How can i check this? Thanks for help!

It's unlikely the Intel 620 graphics will be able to push the increased pixels a 1440 monitor will use, for anything but desktop applications and will be choppy at best for most gaming and possibly even some videos.

Yes it can support that resolution. Max is 7680*4320. Don't think that it will perform well though. Browsing, email, office apps will be fine. Anything else, don't have your hopes high.
