Hey Guys

I am building a new gaming rig and chose this Formula and Hero in final.
I am a MSI loyal fan, but planned to change my track. I am on a tight budget but I planned to choose the Formula due to its high specs as I am going to used it for at least two years. I have been reading all those reviews on Tom's, Newegg and other site, and found out that the Formula have a lot of faulty things and bad reviews. So I am confused and should I throw $300 to the uncertain mobo ? And I am currently living in Singapore and planning to order the Mobo Amazon.
So am I going to get good global warranty service in Singapore and the 30days renewal ?
My current MSI mobo have no problem with the warranty.

Your suggestions are useful to me and let me know your thoughts. 👍
Cheers Guys !

How about neither? If your thinking about tossing $300 at a board, then you should be looking at ASROCK's z87 Extreme9/ac board. That board trumps any ATX form factor board that Asus presently has out, and at a great price too.

Notable strengths of that board:

A. PLX 8747 controller. Allows 2 x x16 or 4 x x8 of the gpu slots
B. Thunderbolt connectors
C. dual LAN/ ac wifi
D. probably the best sound chip currently of any board
E. Best board power supply
F. 5 year warranty

And this is coming from an Asus fan in myself as well.

Though what you failed to state was how this board would be used, how many video cards you plan to use etc etc.......

My CPU will be 4770K
16GB of Vengeance pro
and GPU will be GTX770 or CF R9 280X
Currently I am having problems of choosing Mobo...

I have never tried Asrock, because Asrock is known as Low profile in our country.
