Does anyone know anything about MEDION laptops?

it’s very difficult to find out much info about them.

Now, usually if something is too good to be true, it usually is. But this seems like a lot on offer for the money. And 150w TGP….

The median is a brand that you really can’t find too much on the Internet. There seems to be a lack of reviews on YouTube.

Anyone know anything about them?

The median [sic] is a brand that you really can’t find too much on the Internet.

Medion, now owned by Lenovo, is a German brand so that's why you probably haven't heard too much about them. They have a reputation for selling good quality laptops at very low prices - frequently in European budget supermarkets..

Yeah I mean the £1799 deal above seems pretty good.

But I’m not entirely convinced that the Lenovo wouldn’t outperform the Medion, even with the RTX 3070.

it is tempting though — given you get the RTX3080.

but it’s gonna be cheap for a reason right? I’ve got to have cut corners somewhere.

Not necessarily. Another way of looking at it is that perhaps big-brand companies are over charging.

That laptop is based on a Tongfang barebones chassis used by many reputable lesser known computer builders. It won't be rubbish.
