I think I'm turning gay! But seriously, I admire these guys! Chris and Don, many thanks! You have my great appreciation and a lot of the members here at TH shouldn't take you guys for granted. Looking forward to more cool reviews!
I'd also like to thank every other editor (or anyone who contributes to the articles) whether they're listed in this pic article or not! LONG LIVE TOM'S HARDWARE!

(BTW, for some odd reason, I thought you were German, Don. Sorry about that. :p)

[citation][nom]Uberragen21[/nom]But do they know how to proof read before posting?[/citation]
I challenge you to track down errors in our feature content. I spend all day most days proofreading ;-)

I'm sincerely glad you enjoy the work we do. :)

[citation][nom]majudhu[/nom]no doubt about apple marketing here[/citation]

I would think the editors needed something thin and light to carry around. before the advent of ultrabooks and sleekbooks, there arent many choices for extremely thin strong laptops(disregarding cost as a factor). Albeit I was never a fan of apple pricing, their engineers are really good at making the laptops thin and efficient heat wise. The thin counterpart to a macbook on windows would be the razor blade, but that thing is even more expensive than a mac. It also doesn't hurt to use a unix based operating system as a mobile unit.

Consider also that I have a Lenovo Carbon here in the lab, which is badass, aside from the touchpad, but also more expensive than an Air.

[citation][nom]mayankleoboy1[/nom]Great read! Been waiting for an article like this for a loong time.No love for Andrew Ku and Crashman ? they do ~ 50% of the articles[/citation]
Those two are camera-shy. If folks like this one, though, we have a ton more editorial guys around the world. We just have to trick them into participating.

[citation][nom]sarinaide[/nom]Do we get a featured user segment to or member interview segment.[/citation]
I shout-out readers all of the time in stories when they help figure something out or ask questions that lead to new lines of testing and stuff.

[citation][nom]amuffin[/nom]I really like how you guys take in user feedback for future articles. BTW Chris, I posted on the FB page about the updated watercooling stuff.....[/citation]
Awesome--passed those messages to Thomas so we could get a story planned! Thanks for that feedback!

Its a thankless job and one that I am grateful others do for me, I used to freelance test and well the manhours needed while its a good job or hobby consumes a lot of time and resources. I know many and possibly myself have been at times hypercritical, but ultimately the work done here is of a standard I appreciate and I am sure many others do.

I had the same thoughts though not totally (depending on how you look at it, like from a gaming perspective) but definitely price-wise. There was someone with a GTX 680 (Don maybe, sorry, just about to go to sleep so I feel to lazy to check). Now add that in then you have icing on the cake. :D

Hate to break it to ya but the IT world includes Apple too.

The broadcast industry (of which I am a part of) makes everything happen using Macs. Granted, the servers are largely loaded with custom software and/or Windows. But the desktops/laptops are nearly all Mac. Those sports broadcasts that most of us watch on a weekly basis... powered by Macs AND Windows machines.

So when is the "Meet the writers?" ;)

Nice read, I enjoyed it. Hopefully there will be future installments.

On another note, there's a world of difference between buying Apple products because you're a member of the mindless Consumerist sheeple-herd who thinks you're being cool by doing so, and buying them because research and personal experience have shown that specific Apple products handle the specific tasks you have very well.

Edit: Personally, I own no Apple products. I am eager to bash the sheeple mentality too, but if an Apple product suited my needs, it would be mindless to ignore it simply because it's Apple.

Finally some insight into why there is so much dang apple news on this site.

It was really cool to see the differences in everyones setups and configurations. Get an idea of the differences in each persons priorities an preferences.

I constantly found myself comparing each persons setups to my own, lol.
