Hello,

I have a Pentium 2.4C GHz on an Asus P4C800 delux with 1GB of RAM 400 MHz and XP Pro installed. When I run Performance Test for CPU I get only 188 MegaFlops. With my old PIII 1GHz I get 245 MegaFlops. Video card I have is MSI TI4200. 128 MB. The benchmark program I use is Performance test from passmark.com and I recommend it.

WHAT IS THE MISTERY???

Any help is apreciated.

Thank you
Adrian

I'd venture a guess that that piece of software isn't very well-suited for the P4. Not like it matters, it's a meaningless synthetic measurement.

Thank you for reply

I ran the same test, with the same software, on a P4 1.8Ghz and I get a score of over 400 megaflops....

It really puzzles me !!!!

It sounds to me like that software is a mega flop!

(He he he he. I couldn't resist.)
