In canada we pay a small fee on top of blank media for the right to copy music. i would be willing to pay a small amount on top of dvd/br blank media and possibly on flash drives, in order to get the industry to just back off and leave the consumers alone. piracy is being blown out of proportions. i buy more now than i did when it didnt exist. and developers/movie producers in my opinion get more saturation of the market from screeners being leaked. your telling me, an industry that NEVER ONCE YET posted negative earnings, is feeling the "pains" of pirating. get out of here.

the way we use the internet now, will never change, you can try to enforce these laws, and you can try to imprison / charge people for copying data, but the fact of the matter is.... SONY makes DVD burners, and blue ray burners. and, is also involved in movie/music production and they didnt think that people might think to copy other things onto the blank media. its like a crack dealing complaining that there are too many crack heads living on his block. seriously. . .

im not saying making money off of IP, is right. as its not. but lending a movie to a freind for no exchange of money, isnt a crime in my opinion. and neither should the transfer of data, from point a to point b be, as long as your not making a profit off of other peoples IP.
i might feel sorry for movie producers, if they didnt blatently blow sh*T out their arses on a regular basis. claiming that they lost 6bill in revenue because some 15 y/o downloaded transformers onto his computer. just because someone downloaded something. DOES NOT mean that they would have paid for the product had they not had access to it for free.

mega was making tons of money. . . so i dont feel sorry that he got in trouble, but where is the line? when is when. and WHO gets to decide what happens on the internet? shouldnt the world speak for itself. obviously we are doing EXACTLY what we want to do. and no country or state should be able to police the internet. let it run free. its worked out well over all.

Mega needs funds unfrozen to pay for bandwidth, hosting, and systems administration.

regards,
mansy.

This is the Change Obama brought us. At least GW only ignored the rights of foreigners, Obama doesn't care about America.
