Memorex Dual Format

I recently installed a Memorex Dual Format writer, Model # 3202-3235. Everything seems to work except that when I try to write to a CD-RW it says it is a read only disk. The file system says it is UDFRDR. When I put the same disk in my HP writer it says it is a CDUDFRW and I can write to it. Thank You for any Help.

Use your format utility that came with your drive

When I try to format using drag to disc ( Roxio Easy CD Creator 6 ) I get a dialog box saying to "Please Insert a Disc"
