Does anyone know why sometimes on boot memory context restore on my motherboard does not work? Most of the time I get 13-15 second boot times but every once a while it will take 45 as seen in image, is this generally normal?

Specs:
G.Skill 6000mhz ddr5 Cl36 32gb
7800x3d
7800xt Sapphire Nitro+
1tb crucial t500 gen 4 ssd
Corsair Rm850x
Msi Tomahawk b650 WIFI
Montech Air max 903
Deepcool Ak620

Memory Context (training) really is only needed until you find stable RAM settings. Longer boot times with it on are normal. For me it's usually 1.5 minutes with it on.

Worst case with it off and it suddenly fails to boot you'll either need to reset CMOS or the MB will detect repeated failed boots and reset automatically. Just save your configuration to a USB drive and it will be a known issue.

I have it enabled, but what I mean is that sometimes, upon booting, I experience 15-second boot times, while other times, it takes 45 seconds.

Nature of the training. I won't pretend to understand it fully. Mine has taken as long as 5 minutes which I forgot to mention. It's an AMD quirk. Had none of these dumb issues on Intel with XMP but that was also DDR4.

So I'm not sure what determines the time required or even what training fully involves. Theoretically/practically it should just boot with the last good configuration and only take longer if it failed or faced instability, alas, at least not in my experience is this how it works.

Maybe your configuration (RAM and MB combo) boots under ideal configuration/settings most times early on but occasionally fails and falls to another set of timings.

Yeah, everything runs as expected so I am not concerned just weird it does that sometimes. I appreciate the response!

Windows is not causing the delay in the boot process; the image shows the BIOS boot time. + it shows lights on the motherboard but cycles through them when it posts
