I am in a dilemna, i am trying to decide if to drop my current RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145043

and get:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16820220144&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=100&SelectedRating=5

I will be overcloking my E6850 to 3.6Ghz but i wont touch the ram at all.

I have only 2GB and id like to get the patriot with 4GB (i know vista only reads 3.2GB)

or should i get another 2GB of the same corsair memory ?

or if i should go with another brand, recommend me some with links please.

thank you.

In your POST seems that you are thinking of getting Patriot 2gbx2 too get your 4gb? But then you link too a 1gbx2 module.

In any case IMO i would not upgrade the RAM at all, leave the domininator in there by itself.

However, if you are hell bent on getting 4gb it is always better to get 2x2gb sticks to do it. However, this is much more expensive... if you were going to use 4 sticks i would stick with the same module as much as i could as they will be very similar in voltage, speed, latency and OC ability which in the end would give you a more stable system.

what i ment is i want 4GB in my PC, of 1GB each stick , so in total it would be 4 sticks.

i was thinking of the patriot ram since i get get all 4GB for the same price that i payed for my corsair memory. My question is would this be a wise choice even tho i dont plan to do any overclocking of the ram ?

or recommend me others ram's ?
