Hey, so in one of my older systems I have some FB ECC RAM and three of the modules are running at 50C or some and one is at 110C. This seems odd, but is it really an issue?

Also it is not a sensor error, that things heatsink is hot as balls.

If it's an issue, what should I do? If I am unable to fix it, would it be bad to leave it in there till it dies.

Solution
I would try to get a fan on it or blowing air past it, Its not terrible to leave it until it dies but at that temp it will die, Just make sure it isn't dieing via melting as that may break the mobo

Alright thanks for your answer, I'm making sure it's that stick right now. They have airflow, lots of case fans and it is a 8 stick ram config with only four sticks in quad channel, it's only temp ram though.

It is definitely that module.
