Memory not recognised

I have 16Gb (2X8) of G.Skill 2400MHz DIMMs on my freshly assembled Maximus VI Formula based rig. Installed Windows 8.1 (64-bit).
In both Bios and Windows, it is only recognising 8GB.....

Any ideas?

I really don't want to take off the Dark Rock Pro 3 cooler again or take the MB back out the chassis!....

Did you go to BIOS and put the RAM setting to "Dual Channel"

No, but problem's resolved anyhoo.
School boy error. One of the DIMMs wasn't seated properly!....... (red face).....
