Hello!
I've got an issue with my computer the last 1 1/2 week and have tried to find a solution to this matter by either searching and/or attempting to fix this my self:
After a boot-up, I used to have about 1.6gb usage of memory to begin with, now I'm start above 2.6gb, close to 3gb sometimes.
And if I'm going to play, let's say CS:GO, it takes me about two competitive matches ( approximately 40min each) and the game turn out to drop down to 15-20 fps from 200fps with almost everything at top graphic setup.
By just aiming around the map, walking, looking etc. the sound struggles to keep on, the frames drops extremely fast by looking around.
If I'm going to play solo games like Kingdom of Amalur, it works just fine, same with the movies, but just about 2 hour after I get up to 7gb of usage (after closing the softwares).
Nothing but Spotify, Avast! and skype is running in the background, which has never (to me) reached above 3gb ram of usage.
If I leave my computer on for the day when I'm at work, and get back (8 hours later), I sometimes can't open up task manager to see the performance tab nor resource monitor.
Everything just stops, even my Motherboard's software platform AI Suite 2.
So yeah, it's basically going upward with usage after time, sometimes with high amount of cache stored and mostly without much stored, which ends up to 20mb ram in the end left to be used, without having barely any softwares running in the background.
I have Cleaned my computer with Avast!, MalwareBytes, MyDefrag, Window's Defrag, CCleaner, updating the OS.
I have cleaned ghost updates (Out-dated updates that takes space without being used).
I have cleaned the disks with Disk-Cleanup.
I have removed old files like videos, pictures, stack of mp3's, games and other softwares.
I have not attempted yet to clean my computer for dust, which has been 3 months ago since I cleaned my computer the last time.
I have also updated the hardwares like GPU, Mobo etc.
So I'd like to know, what other possibilities are there to be helpful in this situation?
Any tip, help, links etc. would be helpful.
I got this as OS:
Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit)
I got this as hardware:
Kingston HyperX 3K SSD 120GB 2.5"
I got 2 other HDD's, one of them is 10 years old or even older, but don't know the name of it.
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL9
Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 GHz 3GB GDDR5
ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z, Socket-AM3+
AMD FX-8350 8-Core Processor
Chieftec Nitro Series BPS-750C 750W PSU
Thanks in advance.
