Memory upgrade for dell latititude xt

hi, i want to upgrade the memory on a dell latitude xt to 4gb or higher
the only problem is that there aren't many available to this standered
so i'm wondering whether i could use an xt3 memory.
is this possible?
if not can i use an xt2 memory?
if not that can i use anything else?

You only can upgrade to total 3GB (1gb on board+ 2GB 533MHz DDR2 SODIMM Netbook Memory).

And you can't use the xt2 / xt3 memory which is DDR3 RAM.
