memory upgrade to 16 gb

need to know what make and model your motherboard is ?
What operating system you are using eg. windows7 64bit

Google and download HWinfo program, then you can screen shot it and post it in your thread, then we will all have a better idea of how to answer. I think there are different version for either 32bit or 64bit so you have to at least know that, but that's easy to find in your system properties.

motherboard: ASUS CM6330_CM6630_CM6730_CM6830_M11AA h61 cougar point
CPU: Intel Core i5-3350P quad core
Gpu: NVIDIA gtx 620
OS: Win. 8.1
Current Ram: Asint Technology SLA302G08-GGNHC 2x4 memory sticks

8 gb is enough for that . every game and high power software are perfect on 8GB . no need 16gb now

the thing is the memory is for a server i host on my computer and it is very ram resource intensive
