Memory usage when idle?

Hi all, quick question....

Roughly how much memory should my computer be using when just sat idle on the desktop?, Currently the resource monitor is saying 1.58GB is being used, Is this right?.

I believe the service svchost(netsvcs) is using up alot, plus im having trouble with windows update taking forever to check for updates lol??

System specs? Version of Windows? Those important details aside that's about right. I'm using 1.6GB out of 4GB on this old laptop I use to test Insider builds of Windows 10. Firefox with 2 tabs open is all that's running.
