[SOLVED] Memory won’t boot on said frequency

Hey guys.
So I just bought a new set of RAM which is supposed to be able to work at 3200 frequency.
And yet it doesn’t.
Seems I tried it all. I used XMP profiles (3000 and 3200); I used “memory try it!” And also tried to set it manually.
And yet every time I boot it just resets to the minimal 2600.
Looked through forums and seems many people have the same problem with my particular setup, which is:
Ryzen 5 1400
B350 PC Mate
Goodram IRDM X DDR4 3200 2x8192

would really appreciate some guidance.
Thanks in advance

Solution
Unfortunately it doesn’t boot on that profile as well.
I just tried putting it to 2800 and it also didn’t work.
Would you suggest to do something about the CPU? It’s working on 3200 ghz (even tho I set it 3400).
Nothing seems to be working properly for me :(
ram should work at 2933 in A2 +B2 slots
A1+B1 slots runs at 2666MHz

recheck if you placed your ram modules according to mainboard manuals

first gen ryzen is limited to 2933MHz on XMP, going above that requires ram overclocking skills

Unfortunately it doesn’t boot on that profile as well.
I just tried putting it to 2800 and it also didn’t work.

Your CPU-Z screenshot is showing that your ram stick is in slot #1. As someone suggested earlier, two ram sticks should be placed in slots 2 and 4. Move them to the correct slots and see if 3200 works. Even in the correct slots 3200Mhz ram is not always going to work with a first generation ryzen.

Lets gooooo boiiiis

Made it. The issue was actually in the slots where I put it.
I placed it in 2 and 4 slots and it boots well both on 2933 and 3200. It even says so on the motherboard.

Thanks everyone for the help. Really appreciate it.
