I ran Memtest86 in the past and it worked, but now it's not working anymore. I try booting it up, but it gets ignored and proceeds to Windows. I looked on this forum and didn't find the answer. There was just someone saying he's PC was older and people said that he needed to put his BIOS on UEFI mode. Idk what that means, but I did check and my BIOS is on UEFI mode.

I have a Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE (rev. 1.0) with the latest BIOS update. I did find 2 weird af things when I was checking the BIOS. It said my main boot device was a Corsair SSD SATA, but there's no Windows on that SSD. My Windows is on a Kingston SSD NVME M2. And I have Windows 11 PRO, but on the BIOS it's written Windows 10.

Anyway, how do I boot this? I need to check if my new memory stick is fine before I activate the XMP so I know for certain that if something goes wrong, it was the XMP's fault instead of a manufacturer problem.

How old is Memtest you have configured? Memtest has been uefi only for awhile now, hopefully your version is just old and need to redo the usb stick with the latest version.

Latest version. It even looks different from the old videos showing how to use it.

Assuming Windows usb installer worked, id say you're not setting up Memtest properly or something wrong with usb stick. Try Rufus to set it up using Memtest iso.

That didn't work. Only gave me more work. Rufus made this flash drive not show up on Windows. After searching, I found out it removed the flash drive's letter and I had to go on Disk Management and put it back on.
