Hi , I have two partitions on windows 8.1 , D E and G ..

I want to merge them without losing any data ..

I tried AOMEI but I always get this error :

"Some files or folders can not be accessed"

Is there's any alternative application I can use ?

Thanks

You should have a backup of any data you don't want to lose. Hard drives can always fail and there isn't much you can do about it.
This is particularly important before you start trying to merge partitions as the risk of losing your data is higher than usual.
The Windows disk management tools allow you to expand a partition into adjacent unused space, so you should be able to delete one of the partitions after it is backed up and expand the partition before it on the disk into this space.

I have 2x200gb partitions , A USB stick is useless ..
That\s why I started a new thread .

Sorry but backup is not an options right now , I can't backup 400gb at the moment .

And how much data is on one of those partitions? Are they 100% full? borrow an external drive from a friend, buy an ext drive and use it for backups.

That is a ridiculous statement. External 1TB drives are available as both large drives with external power that are very cheap and smaller portable drives that are more expensive.
If you couldn't just delete your data today and not care about it, then not having a backup is stupid. You might as well roll a dice to decide if you are going to delete it today.

I can delete the data but I was trying to merge the partitions without losing it , I mean it would be better if I can do this instead of deleting everything .. The reason I started this thread is I tried to use AEMOI application and I'm having a problem with it .. So if anyone know a better application it would be great .
