Hey everyone,

First off, here are my pc specs:

Case: Meshify C
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6 core
CPU Cooler: Evo 212 Black Edition
Motherboard: Asus Prime x470
Ram: 16GB Vengeance DDR4 2133
SSD/HDD: WD SSD 1TB
GPU: rtx 2070 Super Evga
PSU: 650W Bronze EVGA -- honestly don't remember exactly what it is cause I bought it in 2016, but it should pretty similar.

Was thinking about upgrading to a ryzen 9 5900x, but highly doubt that my evo 212 will be enough. Initially, I was leaning towards the nh-d15, but I don't think it'll fit in the case and by the looks of it not many good coolers will fit in my case. Do you guys have any recommendations?

With 42mm height ram you can get away with raising front D15 fan a little and still close the panel, i have a friend with both D15 and that case but it is tight. As above, 15s version doesn't have front fan to raise. But if want full D15 two fans then get this case instead (link below) as it's a bit wider. I have Gskill Trident Neos, bit taller than the Tridents Z my friend has by a couple of mm, able to close panel no problems after raising front fan.

Regarding cpu though, if this is for gaming then go for 5800x3D. 5900x is not as good.

Yep just for gaming, should have done a bit more research lmao. Thank you for the suggestion
