Hello everyone!
I have just begun to use messenger as my kids have it. However, I use an
email screening program and thus don't want outlook express running whenever
I'm on. However, when I close Outlook express, it closes my messnger which
I'd like to leave on. Is there a way to configure Messenger so that when I
close Outlook express, it does not close messenger and thus cut me off?
Thanks a heap!

Greetings Matthew,

Yes you can, however this will lose the integration between Outlook Express and Messenger (if
you use this functionality at all). To do so, close Outlook Express, then download and run
the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/stopmessenger_oe.reg

Hi Vonny,

Can you be more specific about "closing"? Do you mean you're just getting signed out or the
entire application is disappearing?
