Microphone cutting out randomly.

My Blue Snowball microphone has recently began to randomly cut out. I have no idea what could be causing the problem. The only changes I've made to my computer since this problem started are buying a set of Logitech S120 speakers. Any suggestions?

My cables are plugged in securely. What do you mean by different USB port? My microphone is connected only by USB--should I clean the port/switch to a different one?
